‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ is still several months off, but it’s never too early to start drumming up awareness for the new movie, which will build a bridge between the original X-Men movies as well as the two Wolverine flicks that followed them and ‘X-Men: First Class’, the most recent team movie.

Unfortunately we’re so early in, that even though the film has wrapped, the special effects have not yet been completed.  Even so, we have gotten several spots for the movie already and now there’s a new Japanese TV ad to promote it.  It’s WAY short, but (if I recall correctly) it’s the first time we’ve seen Halle Berry as Storm and Daniel Cudmore as Colossus in motion from this film.

Check it out below:

But WAIT!!!  Is that Rogue (at about :10)?!  It’s already been stated that Rogue/Anna Paquin was cut from the film!  Could they have accidentally slipped in a clip from a deleted scene?  It wouldn’t be the first time.  (Watch the extras on your ‘Clueless’ DVD.)  Honestly, I wish they could have kept her in, but hopefully they will release a “Director’s Cut” or at least include her scene as a bonus feature, considering what a vital character she was in the original movies.

No, the new trailer doesn’t add a ton of revelations, but there is some new footage.  Are you excited to see the original X-Men reassemble onscreen?  Are you intrigued as to how the original cast integrates with the ‘First Class’ characters?  Comment below!
