Since the creation of superheroes, fans have always wondered who was superior over the rest. Or, to put it bluntly, they want to know who would win in a fight. That’s probably why games like ‘Marvel Vs. Capcom’, ‘Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe’, and ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ sell so well. However, there’s no game that matches up the big two in comic books, Marvel and DC. Sure, there was that brief ‘DC vs. Marvel’ limited series in the 90s that resulted in the Amalgam Universe, but that hardly settled any disputes. That’s why an enthusiastic animator set out to reignite one of the matches from that crossover to see how Superman versus the Hulk would really go down.

In May of 2012, Mike Habjan set out to provide an answer of who would win in a fight between Marvel’s Jade Giant and DC’s Blue Boy Scout by creating ‘Superman vs. Hulk – The Fight’. As of today, the fight is still ongoing, but you can check out the four parts of the action so far on the artist’s YouTube channel. Or, for your convenience, watch them all below:

The work seems pretty good considering that this guy is doing this all on his own and in his spare time. The artist even throws in some of Hulk’s signature movies that we’ve come to know and love from ‘The Avengers’. However, Habjan mentions in the description of his most recent video that it is starting to take it’s toll on him:

“I’m sick of working on it and wanted it to be done last year. … This was a lot of work.”

It will be interesting to see how he ends this fight. It’s set during the day and Kal-El gets more power from the sun, but every time the Hulk gets hit, he gets angrier and stronger. Even if the sun were down, Supes would still have something up his sleeve to keep going. By the looks of things, the two titans seem evenly matched and the fight could go on forever.

Who do you think will come out on top in ‘Superman vs. Hulk – The Fight’? Are you cheering for DC’s Man of Steel or do you side with Bruce Banner’s angry alter ego? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
