For fans of this clone filled science fiction drama you’ll be happy to hear that ‘Orphan Black‘ is set to return in the spring of 2014! In fact Season 2 is scheduled for April 19th, 2014 to be exact. With it’s second season announcement date set in stone we get to enjoy not one but two new teasers for the show!

As typical for BBC America shows, the first season was far too short for anyone’s own good. So when it ended back in June everyone has been sitting on the edges of their seats to see what would happen next. Thankfully it won’t be long until they will be showing the second season (as well as Canada’s Space Channel.) While the upside is that we’re going to be continuing the hour long episode tradition, the downside is there will still only be ten episodes per season. Why must you tease us with such short seasons?

First up we have BBC America’s teaser:

Well, thank you for not having any footage for us. That’s just mean. Seriously, just some teaser text.

Thankfully the Space Channel has you covered! While there isn’t a whole ton of new footage or any hints to what you can expect from the new season (this is a teaser after all), you do get to see Maslany again.

While the teasers do just that — tease — we’ve got you covered. Here’s the official synopsis for the second season:

Season 2 hits the ground running with Sarah in a desperate race to find her missing daughter Kira. Her scorched earth tactics spark a war with pro-clone Rachel, dividing and imperiling all the clones. As Sarah discovers more about her past, mysterious newcomers appear, but can they be trusted?

Do you think the show will be able to live up to the high expectations that the first season gave us? Share your thoughts below!
