There are just a couple days left until the next ‘RoboCop’ trailer drops, and with the first trailer for the film being so awesome, I suspect that it’s just going to wet our appetites that much more! To tease us before the release, the studio has given us 4 new close up looks on specific characters from the film with these character posters. The posters are of  Samuel L. Jackson (‘The Avengers‘, ‘The Secret Service) playing Pat Novak, Jennifer Ehle (‘Contagion‘, ‘The Adjustment Bureau‘) playing Liz Kline, Jackie Earle Haley (‘Dark Shadows‘) in his role as Maddox, and finally Gary Oldman (‘The Dark Knight Rises‘) rounding out this set of cast pictures as Dr. Dennett Norton (with the announcement that the next trailer is coming this Thursday!)

While RoboCop is going to be the main character, I have this sneaky suspicion that Samuel L. Jackson is going to steal the show in this film as Pat Novak he is going to be the host of ‘The Novak Element’, which is a popular show in the world of ‘RoboCop’. He is going to be one of the main supporters of the new forms of crime control being implemented and we’ll have to see him being vocal about it. I could really see him having a Jules moment as he did in ‘Pulp Fiction’ that will stand out above the rest. While I’ve been loving him as Nick Fury, this is one of those roles that can truly take advantage of his charisma in a way we haven’t seen in awhile.

Liz Kline is clearly the head of OmniCorp legal affairs though I’m not sure what exactly that will entail in the film just yet. Following that up is Maddox who is an ex-military tactician who will be helping train Robocop. Apparently his years on the force as a police officer just won’t be enough. Finally there is Dr. Dennett Norton who creates RoboCop and is responsible for bringing the project to life, and possibly bringing Murphy back to life depending exactly how his transition to RoboCop really plays out on the big screen this time around.
