‘Star Trek‘s Leonard “Bones” McCoy, Karl Urban is headed to the small screen as rebellious police officer John Kennex, who has an artificial leg and is paired with an android partner played by Michael Ealy, referred to as Dorian on the J.J. Abrams produced series ‘Almost Human’.
The show got pushed back from its original release date of Monday November 4th to a two-night debut on November 17th and 18th. I’m not sure what that means, but we know the show lost its showrunner. In the meantime, Fox has released a new, lengthy trailer, which you can watch below:
The series is described as “an action-packed police procedural set 35 years in the future, when police officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids.” It’s also been described as a “Ro-bromance.”
In addition to Urban and Ealy, the cast is rounded out by Lili Taylor (‘The Conjuring‘), Mackenzie Crook (the British version of ‘The Office’), Michael Irby (‘The Unit’) and Minka Kelly (Lee Daniels’ ‘The Butler’).
