Back when Disney acquired Marvel in 2009, there were a ton of jokes floating around about a crossover between the characters of each entity. Pretty much they were the same jokes as the ones when the Mouse House bought Lucasfilm, except it was more Captain America and less Luke Skywalker. But now that crossover is actually happening and some of Marvel’s biggest heroes will be appearing alongside some of the Disney Channel’s mainstays.

On August 16, Spider-Man, Thor, Iron Man, and the Hulk will be teaming up with Phineas and Ferb to bring us ‘Phineas & Ferb: Mission Marvel‘, where Dr. Doofenshmirtz launches an attack on the Avengers and depowers them while they’re visiting Danville. Featuring other characters such as the Red Skull, Whiplash, Venom, and M.O.D.O.K., this unprecedented mash-up will bring together fans of both Marvel and Disney in a way that they never could have imagined.

Before the episode premieres, we have the first clip from the special that finds the heroes hanging out with Phineas and Ferb as they adapt to having their powers switched up on them. To see what sort of hilarity ensues from that, check out the video below:

My first instinct is to say that it doesn’t make sense that Hulk didn’t turn back into Bruce Banner when he lost his powers and Spidey didn’t turn into a gamma monster, but then I remembered that it’s a show for kids so it doesn’t exactly have to make all that much sense. All that matters is that it’s entertaining and they definitely have that on lock.
