Last week, we learned that Latino Review scored another huge scoop when they got some highly detailed information about the rumored ‘Doctor Strange’ movie that’s presumably a part of Marvel’s Phase Three. The site revealed that they’d be sharing more and more details as we got closer to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con and now we’ve gotten the second exclusive video from El Mayimbe.

The first video described Stephen Strange’s traumatic childhood and his prominence as a neurosurgeon, but this second one finds the future Sorcerer Supreme at his lowest point ever. The continued breakdown of the plot finds the doctor encountering The Ancient One, Jade, and Count Mordo for the first time. For the complete details, check out the video below:

By the sounds of these reports, Mayimbe got his hands on a copy of the script that Marvel had commissioned Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer to write back in 2010 and is sharing their vision of the character with the world. However, I assume that things have changed since the writers of ‘Sahara’ and the 2011 version of ‘Conan the Barbarian’ have had their hands on the project.

Regardless, since Doctor Strange is supposedly being built as the new “hub” of the Marvel Cinematic Universe come Phase Three, they are definitely starting with his origin, so it’s very likely that some of these elements will be incorporated in some way into the final product.

What do you think of these proposed plot details for the (rumored to be) upcoming Doctor Strange feature film? If Marvel sticks with what’s being revealed here, how do you think the Sorcerer Supreme’s first foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe will turn out? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
