If last season’s Vampire Authority wasn’t enough to shake things up in Bon Temps, how about getting the Governor of the state all riled up that he’s finally advocating a war on vampires? This is what we see in this new trailer for HBO’s ‘True Blood.’
Season 6 will pick up exactly where the series left off last year with Sookie (Ana Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) trying to get away from a very bloody and very naked Billith (Stephen Moyer). In the premiere episode (which coincidently Moyer directed), Goveror Truman Burrell (Arliss Howard) decides enough is enough and it’s time to take America back. (What is it with Governors these days?)
Interspersed with a speech that the NRA would love, is footage from the upcoming season and it looks like this will be the wildest one yet! No vampire is safe now that fellow mortals have been motivated for a free for all vamp hunt.
As the tagline suggests, “No One Lives Forever” and we may be seeing the death count rise as fellow vampires we’ve come to know over the years are no longer safe.
