Remember that teaser for the teaser trailer for ‘Iron Man 3’ that we posted a couple days ago? Well we now have the full spot that was aired during yesterday’s Nickelodeon’s ‘Kids Choice Awards’!
The spot has all the cool elements you would expect in a Marvel superhero film and the tone of the trailer (which contains some super action and Tony Stark’s childlike whimsy) is a perfect match for the awards show. While previous trailers have shown the bleakness of Stark’s situation with the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) blowing up his incredible home and the Iron Man lair, this TV spot shows Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) suiting up as well as summoning an army of armor. In the words of Col. James Rhodes (Don Cheadle), “That’s awesome!”

‘Iron Man 3’ stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale, and Ashley Hamilton and hits theaters on May 3.
