As promised, the brand new trailer for ‘World War Z’ is here!
It’s been 4 months since the first trailer was released and like its predecessor, this second trailer really doesn’t go into the Z in ‘World War Z’ (for those who don’t know, Z stands for zombies). The film seems to focus more on the pandemic aspect of the disease rather than those who are afflicted with it. What hasn’t changed is the overwhelming amount of undead portrayed in the film.
The trailer starts off innocent enough with an ordinary family morning but soon turns into full on action as we see bureaucrats go into panic mode and millions of people begin to turn into zombies. It’s up to Brad Pitt who has to travel to different countries to find not only the source of the outbreak, but also the cure before all of humanity is lost.
This definitely is not a ‘Walking Dead’ type of film and I’m curious to see how this film holds up to the original novel by Max Brooks which the film was based upon.
