After numerous trailers and TV spots featuring the “JOE” team, the studios are putting a little twist in the marketing of the ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ and are now focusing on the villainous Cobra group. A new featurette about a main member of the group and a Cobra recruitment video has been released and it is just as entertaining as watching the Joe group in action.

The featurette centers on Korean actor Byung-hun Lee who talks about what it’s like playing the vengeful Storm Shadow. In the first film, movie goers got to see the tremulous relationship between Storm Shadow and “JOE” member Snake Eyes (Ray Park) and while it looked like Storm Shadow met his demise in that film, ninjas are pretty adept at avoiding death as can be seen by the guy’s comeback.

Cobra, on the other hand, is looking for a few good men to join their team in this new recruitment video. It’s very patriotic and inspirational and just plain scary to see how a really good PR department can spin any maleficent group into something that can convince you to join them. But then again, that’s what recruitment videos are for, right?

So what do you think? Has seeing the other side of the “JOE” coin still make you want to see the film? Would you join Cobra? Give us your thoughts in the comments below!

‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ stars Dwayne Johnson, Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Byung-hun Lee, D.J. Cotrona, Jonathan Pryce, Ray Stevenson, and Bruce Willis and opens in theaters on March 28.
