After an impressive showing during the big game this past weekend, and a hysterical showing on the internet immediately following, ‘Iron Man 3’ certainly has people talking. The first film in Marvel’s Phase Two drops in three months and more news, pictures, and trailers are sure to pop up to hype it up. Now, it appears that Marvel has provided their fans with a hub for all things Tony Stark.

Earlier this week, the House of Ideas launched the official movie website for genius billionaire philanthropist playboy’s next big screen adventure against one of his greatest foes. If you go to Marvel.com/IronMan3, you’ll be treated to a very uniquely designed interactive site with the previously released trailer, the Superbowl spot, downloadable wallpapers, a synopsis of the film, and various high-res pictures. As more new things are released, I’m sure that they’ll pop up there as well.

If you recall last summer, in the lead up to ‘The Avengers’, Marvel released so many new clips and stills that we practically saw the whole film before it was released. Not that we minded because we still poured out in droves to see the film multiple times, but one has to wonder if they’ll do the same with this new film for Shane Black’s Armored Avenger.

Before you go off to play with the interactive menus at the ‘Iron Man 3’ hub on Marvel.com, here’s the synopsis for the film:

‘Iron Man 3’ pits brash-but-brilliant industrialist Tony Stark/Iron Man against an enemy whose reach knows no bounds. When Stark finds his personal world destroyed at his enemy’s hands, he embarks on a harrowing quest to find those responsible. This journey, at every turn, will test his mettle. With his back against the wall, Stark is left to survive by his own devices, relying on his ingenuity and instincts to protect those closest to him. As he fights his way back, Stark discovers the answer to the question that has secretly haunted him: does the man make the suit or does the suit make the man?

‘Iron Man 3’ starring Robert Downey Jr., Ben Kingsley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Rebecca Hall, and Guy Pearce opens on May 3, 2013.
