About a year ago, Nicholas Hoult of the original UK ‘Skins’ and the upcoming ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’, Teresa Palmer from ‘I Am Number Four’, and John Malkovich signed on for the adaptation of Isaac Marion’s novel ‘Warm Bodies’, a romantic “zom-com” (that’s zombie comedy) helmed by ‘50/50’ director Jonathan Levine. The film follows a zombie named R who falls in love with a human girl. Though the market has been flooded with zombie movies, books, television shows, and video games as of late, this one really looks like it’ll stand out.

Recently, the film’s Facebook page released some cheeky posters. Nothing like a good pun, I always say. Check out the five new posters below, courtesy of Collider, followed by the first trailer for the film and the official synopsis.

A funny new twist on a classic love story, WARM BODIES is a poignant tale about the power of human connection. After a zombie epidemic, R (a highly unusual zombie) encounters Julie (a human survivor), and rescues her from a zombie attack. Julie sees that R is different from the other zombies, and as the two form a special relationship in their struggle for survival, R becomes increasingly more human – setting off an exciting, romantic, and often comical chain of events that begins to transform the other zombies and maybe even the whole lifeless world.

‘Warm Bodies’, starring Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, Rob Corddry, John Malkovich, Dave Franco, and Analeigh Tipton, opens on February 1, 2013.
