Four months ago, it was speculated that Iwan Rheon, who is best known for his time as Simon on the super-powered show ‘Misfits’, would be joining the cast of ‘Game of Thrones’ for the third season. A picture of some cast members in a pub outted his involvement in the critically acclaimed HBO program, but no official word had been made about him joining the cast. However, thanks to Comic Book Movie, that has changed.

In a recent interview with Red Carpet News, the Welsh actor revealed that he would indeed be taking part in the upcoming season of the fantasy series based on the books by George R.R. Martin. No more speculation here because we hear it straight from the horse’s mouth. He was tight-lipped, though, in regards  to who exactly he’s playing, but he did share a little bit about his experience on set. You can check out the full interview where he discusses all this and more in the video below:

Though he wouldn’t confirm who he’s playing, and his official CV lists him as “Boy”, there is much speculation that Rheon will be playing Ramsay Snow, the bastard son of Robb Stark’s lieutenant Roose Bolton who is apparently “by far the most vile, sadistic, despicable character to appear in the ‘Song Of Fire And Ice’ saga”. Those are some awfully big shoes to fill, but I could definitely see the actor rise to the challenge of the role (if that is in fact who he will be playing).
