Last year’s epic game of the year, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, is still going strong. Bethesda recently confirmed that the third downloadable content pack, titled Dragonborn, is coming to Xbox 360 and PC in December.

The campaign-based downloadable content will take players to an island known as Solstheim, which is located to the North-East of the province known as Skyrim. Players are tasked with tracking down an ancient Dragon Priest, who is also known to be the very first Dragonborn, in order to stop his return. Long-time fans of the Elder Scrolls series will already be familiar with Solstheim, as it served as the setting for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind’s second expansion Bloodmoon. Many familiar locations will be accessible, and Bethesda also revealed that there will be a variety of new enemies and armor sets, as well as some new gameplay mechanics. From the trailer, it looks like we will finally be able to ride dragons. Yes, you read that correctly.

Unfortunately for PS3 gamers, Bethesda still hasn’t been able to fix the performance issues with their version of the game, though the company has stated that PS3 DLC will be coming “soon.” There is no word as to whether or not this will include all DLC packs, or only Dragonborn.

Dragonborn will be available on December 4 for PC and Xbox 360, unless the PS3 version gets fixed, and will cost $20. Check out the amazing trailer below:
