Many people may have rolled their eyes when another ‘Paranormal Activity’ movie was announced, but apparently the new installment is still scaring the pants off of theatergoers. Could it be possible that the filmmakers have some new tricks up their sleeves this time around?

Thanks to Blastr, you can check out the brand new audience reaction trailer for ‘Paranormal Activity 4’ where you can see footage of a theater reacting to the film by jumping, screaming, and the like. Watch this new trailer below:

Set five years after the second ‘Paranormal Activity’ (because the third one was a prequel), number four picks up with a mother and son who start to experience some spooky stuff after a new family that fans of the franchise may remember moves into the neighborhood.

Directed by ‘Paranormal Activity 3’ team Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost from a script by Zack Estrin, ‘Paranormal Activity 4’, which stars Katie Featherston, Kathryn Newton, and Micah Sloat, is set for release on October 19th, 2012.
