A mysterious new character will be showing up in Starling City as Byron Mann has landed a recurring role on the CW superhero drama series, ‘Arrow.’
Mann is perhaps best known as Ryu in ‘Street Fighter’ and Koh in the manga-based movie ‘Crying Freeman.’ He’s also appeared in the film ‘Catwoman (with Halle Berry) and has done numerous guest appearances on television shows such as ‘Burn Notice,’ ‘Dark Angel’ and ‘Smallville.’ He will be seen next on the big screen as a villain in the upcoming film ‘The Man with the Iron Fists’ starring RZA, Russell Crowe and Lucy Lui.
Mann will be involved in a multi-episode arc playing an “enigmatic man who has a complex connection to Oliver Queen/Arrow” on the series. Since the description of his character is very vague, we can only speculate who he’ll be playing.
There’s no word yet as to which episode Mann will appear in so we’ll just have to keep our eyes open when the series premieres on Wednesday, October 10th at 8PM ET/PT on the CW network.
