A few months back, Sonar Entertainment quietly announced that they were developing a ‘Hellraiser’ TV series. Now, it seems like a few filmmakers are talking about rebooting the film franchise, and some concept art has just surfaced showing off what their Pinhead universe would look like.

Paul Gerrard, the artist behind ‘Wrath of the Titans’ and ‘Battle LA’, created this art for ‘Mrs. Peppercorn’s Magical Reading Room’ director Mike Le Han’s teaser trailer which was meant to accompany the pitch document for his potential ‘Hellraiser’ reboot. According to Geek Tyrant, the plan right now is for the director to present the teaser and the concept art to Dimension Films along with an outline of the first film’s story with the hopes of bringing the iconic Clive Barker horror franchise into the 21st century.

Currently, the teaser is in the middle of post-production after shooting with “a crew of 47 an over 100 bloodied extras”. Method Studios, Fugitive Studios, and Flipbook Animation are handling the visual effects at the moment.
