Freddy vs. Jason. Alien vs. Predator. Avengers vs. X-Men. Fans love to see the icons of film, television, and comic books go head to head with one another, and now thanks to a partnership between Universal Studios and online game developers Bigpoint, players can become their favorite Universal monsters and battle it out for superiority. In ‘Universal Monsters Online’, you can take on the persona of Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, and The Creature from the Black Lagoon, plus many more, and then take on players from around the world to determine who reigns supreme in the world of movie monsters.

In a press release that we received from Bigpoint, we learned that ‘Universal Monsters Online’ will be “a fast-paced, free-to-play Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) game that brings together all of Universal’s iconic monsters into one competitive experience.” In game currency will be utilized to purchase items such as new characters, special abilities, and character skins.

Currently, the game is in beta testing, but if you go to UniversalMonstersOnline.com, you can sign up for early access.
