Some fans begrudge director Paul W.S. Anderson’s ‘Resident Evil’ movies for veering much too far from the original zombie-infested claustrophobia of the video games on which they are (very loosely) based but I have enjoyed each and every one of them for the mindless action flicks that they are.
Obviously, I’m not the only one who likes these things because Screen Gems keeps making them and that must mean that people are paying for them. So, to keep us ‘Resident Evil’ movie fans sated and interested in the upcoming fifth installment in the franchise, Screen Gems has just released the international poster and two new stills from ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’.
The poster is pretty much the same one that we saw released last week with Alice (Milla Jovovich) standing in skin-tight leather and preparing to kick zombie ass. The difference is that this international poster has Alice looking out at a world in devastation instead of a blank white room.
We also get a look at Alice and Ada Wong (Li Bingbing) looking all badass on an abandoned street…
And the aftermath of a zombie battle (Hint: Alice wins)…
