Now that ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ has been delayed until next year, there’s really only one more summer movie that I’m really looking forward to and that movie is director Marc Webb’s relaunch of ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’.

Even Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is a mere blip on my radar compared to the web-slinging adventures of Peter Parker as he attempts to save New York City from the monstrous Lizard.

So far, we’ve had some awesome trailers and a “super preview” with footage of Spidey saving a kid from a burning car. Now, courtesy of Newsarama, we get a look at the latest TV spot titled “The City Needs You”. There’s not much new footage at all but it’s still fun to watch.

And from CBM, we get three stills from the movie featuring a pre-transformation Dr. Curt Connors (Rhys Ifans), a shot of Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) surveying some damage, and probably coolest of all, a shot of the Lizard (also Rhys Ifans) staring in through some blinds. Now how would you like to look out your office window and see that gazing back at you?

So what do you think of the new images from ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’? Are you going to be waiting with baited breath for opening day? Comment below and let us know!

‘Amazing Spider-Man’ is directed by Marc Webb, stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, and Dennis Leary. It swings into theaters in 2D, 3D, IMAX, and IMAX 3D on July 3, 2012.
