Hot on the heels of the the new pictures of the upcoming ‘Arrow’, CW just released the first image from their upcoming adaptation of ‘Beauty and the Beast’.
‘Beauty and the Beast’ has been brought to screens both big and small over the years, most notably Disney’s animated feature and the late ‘80s CBS drama which starred Linda Hamilton (‘Terminator 2’) and Ron Perlman (‘Hellboy’) as the titular duo. This new CW incarnation is based directly on the CBS series with Starring Kristin Kreuk (‘Smallville’) and Jay Ryan (‘Terra Nova’) taking over the roles of Catherine Chandler and Vincent Koslow.
Starring alongside Kreuk and Ryan will be Brian White (‘Cabin in the Woods’), Nicole Gale Anderson (‘Make It or Break It’), and Max Brown (‘The Tudors’). The new ‘Beauty and the Beast’ will air on the CW on Thursday nights at 9pm EST after their hit ‘The Vampire Diaries’. This means that the show will be replacing the recently cancelled ‘The Secret Circle’ and will keep in the supernatural theme of CW Thursdays.
