If you were one of the many that were upset about not being able to buy a pass for this year’s Comic-Con, then don’t lose heart! The people who run the convention have heard your frustrations and have opened another chance for you to get in! The San Diego Comic-Con will be holding a special second chance badge resale on Tuesday, March 27th at  8AM PT/11AM ET.

This second chance sale will only be open to those who had a valid and confirmed Member ID as of February 29th when the first sale went live online. So if you were one of those who received an e-mail with a link for the first sale, you are eligible to partake in this resale.

Unfortunately, anyone who has already purchased a 4 day badge, bought a Saturday badge or wish to upgrade or change their badge selection will not be allowed to participate in this event.

According to Comic-Con’s e-mail, the reason why they aren’t allowing anyone who has already purchased a Saturday badge to be part of this resale is because Saturday badges were the first single day badge to sell out and they felt that those who purchased a Saturday badge had the opportunity to buy a Thursday, Friday and/or Sunday badge(s) but chose not to do so.  They are only allowing those members who did not have the chance to purchase all four days to participate.

If you are a confirmed Comic-Con member, then make sure you keep an eye out for the e-mail that contains a link to this special resale event. The link will not be available on the Comic Con website or on any social media platform so that should be good news for those who will be taking advantage of the resale event. The link will go live at 8AM PT/11AM ET sharp and since it will only be for tickets that have already been returned, there won’t be many available. I suggest you bookmark the link or copy and paste it into your browser. If you click the link early, you will receive a “404 – NOT FOUND” error page and will need to close your browser window and click the link again to get in. The process to get the badges will be the same as when they first went on sale except you’ll only get to register two people instead of four, so once you are in the waiting room, don’t hit the refresh button and wait until you are connected to the purchase page.

If you are unable to get tickets this time around, Comic-Con will be selling additional returned badges sometime after May 15.

So good luck everyone and let us know if you were able to get badges this time!
