Back in 2009, Sony Pictures paid $1,000,000 for the rights to ‘Angelology’ by Danielle Trussoni. ‘Angelology’ follows 23 year old Sister Evangeline who discovers a letter from Abigail Rockefeller to the late mother superior of Saint Rose Convent. She is then thrown into a world of secrecy, full of ancient conflict and the Nephilm. The Nephilm are descendants of angels and humans, who covet the letters that Sister Evangeline uncovered.

Recently Black Listed writer, Larry Brenner, has been acquired to write the first draft of the up and coming film.  It will be produced by Will Smith and James Lassiter’s Overbrook Entertainment and Marc Forster’s Apparatus. Brenner is known for his Black Listed script ‘Bethlehem’, a story about a group of people trying to survive the zombie apocalypse, when they befriend a vampire. They then become food for the vampire for protection, since the zombie’s won’t eat the vampire.
