There are now officially only 100 days left until ‘The Hunger Games’ hits theaters. To celebrate, Lionsgate did a bit of viral marketing today and released 100 puzzle pieces to 100 different websites around the web. It wasn’t long before fans were tracking down the pieces and piecing them together. The first person to complete the puzzle was @johnshoward who posted the solution on his Twitter account.
Once all 100 pieces of the puzzle were assembled, they revealed the latest poster for the film (seen below). What a fun way to keep excitement going for what looks to be a spectacular adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ beloved novel!
‘The Hunger Games’ is directed by Gary Ross and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, and Liam Hemsworth. It hits theaters on March 23, 2012.
