With the ‘Twilight’ Saga films coming to a close, the producers of the movie franchise have set their sights on their next project.  Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey have teamed up with Summit Entertainment to bring the novel ‘Deadmail’ to the big screen.

‘Deadmail’ is the newest novel by Laurie Frankel. It’s a love story about a computer genius who invents a way for people to e-mail their loved ones that have passed on. When the woman he loves unexpectedly dies, he must decide whether or not he should keep her close to him using his own invention or let her go. Not much more is known but if you want to read more, you’ll have to wait as the novel itself won’t be published until next year.

No screenwriter has been attached to adapt the novel yet nor has a production schedule been revealed for ‘Deadmail.’ But with the project in development now, it may mean that the movie will premiere shortly after the book does.

The premise sounds interesting and a lot more complex emotionally than ‘Twilight’ so it will be interesting to see where Bowen and Godfrey will take the novel. What do you think? Would you see this movie?
