Even though the $200 million ‘Green Lantern’ movie has now taken in over $125 million worldwide at the box office and will probably not make a profit, there are unconfirmed rumors that Warners Bros./DC Comics are already working on a sequel (most likely just a script order). So for now, Green Lantern fans will have to be satisfied with the upcoming animated series coming sometime soon to the Cartoon Network. Given Warners history of producing great animated versions of characters from the DC Universe, this could be much much better than recent the film.
