This is some interesting news for those who actually care about the newest Zack Snyder ‘Man of Steel’ movie (unlike myself). Deadline reported recently that German actress Antje Traue is one of the frontrunners to partner with Michael Shannon in the quest to defeat Superman.
Mike Fleming of Deadline speculates that since Shannon is portraying General Zod, it might be possible that Traue is going to be Ursa, his accomplice.
Though not very well known, Traue isn’t new to acting by any means. She starred alongside Ben Foster and Dennis Quaid in ‘Pandorum,’ and she is currently in Sweden shooting ‘Nobels Testament.’
It looks like most of the major roles are almost decided upon, which means production should begin shortly. As we get more updates regarding this movie, we’ll be sure to bring them to you as they become available.
