The world’s largest multichannel retailer of video games recently announced that it will host events at more than 3,000 of its U.S. stores around the launch of the highly anticipated Nintendo 3DS. The festivities at GameStop include midnight launch events, early store openings and product demos.
On March 27, more than 800 stores nationwide will open at 12:01 a.m. and more than 2,400 stores will open early at 9 a.m. to sell the revolutionary handheld video game system.

One customer was quoted as saying,“I went to a preview event extremely skeptical about the whole 3D thing. What I was not prepared for was to be totally blown away by the system. On April 2, there will be 2000 GameStop locations that’ll host demo events from 12:00-6:00 p.m. local time for the Nintendo 3DS.
