The Syfy channel will debut it’s new series ‘Being Human’ Monday, January 17, at 9pm (ET/PT).

‘Being Human’ is a re-imagining of the acclaimed BBC original series that follows three 20-something roommates: A ghost, a vampire and a werewolf who are struggling to keep their dark secrets from the world, while also helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives. Leading normal lives is a lot harder than it looks for three paranormal roommates – vampire Aidan played by Sam Witwer (‘Smallville’, ‘Battlestar Galactica’), ghost Sally played by Meaghan Rath (‘The Assistants’) and werewolf Josh played by Sam Huntington (‘Cavemen’, ‘Superman Returns’) – who share their secrets and a Boston brownstone. Mark Pellegrino (‘Lost’,’Supernatural’) co-stars as Bishop, Aidan’s charismatic but menacing vampire mentor.

The creative team for 13 episode first season of the one hour drama includes: director and co-executive producer Adam Kane (‘The Mentalist’, ‘Heroes’), executive producer Michael Prupas (‘The Kennedys’, ‘Pillars of the Earth’), executive producers/writers Jeremy Carver (‘Supernatural’) and Anna Fricke (‘Men in Trees’, ‘Everwood’).
